Urban Decay Glinda Palette ($49 USD / 0.43 oz) includes 4 eyeshadows, 2 eyeshadow duos, 1 small eyeliner, and 1 small lip pencil. The Glinda Palette is created from the inspiration of Disney's new movie Oz The Great and Powerful. This palette is limited edition.
Palette:
Tornado - deep vibrant purple with pinky lilac shimmer
Aura - iridescent white with pink shift / iridescent white with blue shift
Magic - pink-purple with soft gold shimmer
Illusion - pastel peach champagne with satin finish
Oz - gold with gold and silver glitter / metallic grey silver with silver glitter
South - warm taupe-gray with silver micro glitter
Glinda Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color - light sheer nude
Rockstar 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil - deep eggplant plum
Packaging: [3.7/4.0]
The palette is one of Urban Decay's new build your own palette. This means if you finish these shadows, you can replace them with other Urban Decay colors! The pans snap into the plastic insert. A middle slot allows for a small liner.
A large mirror is included. The mirror has a protective coating which was a detail I greatly appreciated. The palette has a nice tight closure. It is not overly heavy as well. Size is also something I can deal with because it is a relatively slim case.
Pigmentation: [3.8/4.0]
All the shadows were pigmented, especially the darker colors. Aura is sheer and slightly buildable.
Glinda Lip Color was a sheer beige nude color that is semi opaque.
Rockstar Eye Liner has great pigmentation. It's dark with one swipe.
Texture and Formulation: [3.8/4.0]
These eyeshadows are of the new Urban Decay formulations. The shadows are smooth, buttery-creamy to the touch. Illusion was a touch powdery, but not chalky by any means.
Glinda lip color is smooth, but a bit stickier than I expected.
Rockstar eyeliner is soft and smooth. The formulation is long lasting as well.
Application: [3.7/4.0]
The eyeshadows applied just fine. There were no problems with blending. Oz was the only one with minor fall out issues, so make sure to have a good tacky base when you want to wear this eyeshadow.
Glinda lip color goes on evenly and does not require you to keep on going over your lips. As mentioned above, it's not sticky like a gloss, but it will catch your hair in the wind.
Rockstar eye liner applies smoothly and requires absolutely no tugging.
Longevity: [3.8/4.0]
The glittery shadows had some fallout, but the main colors remained. With no primer, the shadows were able to last for a good 8-9 hours on me. There was minor creasing at the end of 10 hours.
Glinda lip color lasts at most 4 hours on me.
Rockstar eye liner lasts up to 8 hours with no smudging, creasing, or fading. On "sweatier" days such as those days with work out, there is some minor smudging.
